Trusts and Foundations.

Change happens when women come together in movements to organise and mobilise.

Womankind has been fortunate to build relationships with charitable trusts and foundations who share our vision of a truly fair society for all women and girls.

From The Sir Halley Stewart Trust to the Evan Cornish Foundation, our partnerships with trusts and foundations have helped to secure the rights of women and girls around the world. Their funds have supported a range of initiatives including:

  • Helping to launch innovative research to strengthen the women-led business sector in Ethiopia.
  • Supporting violence prevention programmes in the Kibera informal settlement in Kenya.
  • Increasing girls’ participation by strengthening information, communication and technology skills in Kathmandu, Nepal.

If you are a trustee, or have links to a trust or foundation interested in supporting women’s rights, we’d love to be in touch.

Please call our Trusts and Foundations Manager, Kalie Weninger, on 020 3989 2060 or email KalieW@womankind.org.uk

“We enjoy working with Womankind Worldwide and are delighted to currently support the Another Chance project – which will facilitate the financial independence and re-integration of women ex-prisoners in Zimbabwe.” Rachel Cornish, The Evan Cornish Foundation
